Here is a GREAT clip of Glen Campbell performing Witchita Lineman on the Smothers Brothers show. I first became aware of Glen Campbell in the early 1970′s because my grandfather used to play his 8-tracks constantly while driving us around in his early 70′s Oldsmobile Delta 98 with 455 Rocket V8. Anyway, Glen is actually a really great guitar player and was never that know for being such. Check out the Fender Bass VI in this video….how cool is that?
