The NFL and NBC have just announced their latest act to headline at the Super Bowl halftime show. And no, Janet Jackson won’t be returning anytime soon. Set to perform in next year’s halftime extravaganza is Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Nothing will ever top Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake’s infamous duet and “wardrobe malfunction” from back in 2004, though. Since them, several “safe” acts have performed, such as Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, and this year it was Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. The Super Bowl next year will take place on February 1st at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
