The Club amp can totally hold it's own with an SRV thing or anything like that. There are some videos I shot on youtube with various guitars. The Lunchbox is another case. Think of it as a loud 5F1 Champ with more depth and punch. It does not have the bottom or punch of a 12" speaker but the feedback I'm getting it has been compared to a 10". The punch of the LB is more upper bass/lower mids about 200hz. Sounds great with pedals too!-Billy

Hi Rick- Thanks for the kind words and for visiting 300guitars!!! Jumpin Jack Flash or Born to Be Wild, ... Classic Rock Stuff? Is there enough "punch" in either or box of these (I mean I know the 6.5 HAS to have a limited bottom end but is there any punch there?Rick

It’s pretty obvious you’re a Tele guy and do a lot of the “chickin Pickin” kind of stuff (and damn you’re good at it) but what are either the Lunchbox or the Cub able to hold their own at all on something like an SRV strat playing mostly rhythm on say… Jumpin Jack Flash or Born to Be Wild, … Classic Rock Stuff? You can TOTALLY gig with a Lunchbox and I have been using one for months now. It cuts through the mix, sounds great with pedals and sounds great mic'd through a PA. Small, portable and loud while having nice tone and good dynamics. If need be you can use the LB with an extension cabinet for more volume and girth. You can kind of view this as a small head with a 6.5" speaker....The Club is similar to the Luncbox but has a few more features like reverb and separate bass and treble controls. Another big this that sets the two amps apart is the 12" speaker. As I said in my review it is loud, punchy and clear with nice warm and defined bottom end. It sounds similar to the LB through an extension 1x12 cabinet. If you can swing the extra money get the Club because you have an amp that will cover many different situations and gigs all in one package. If you like the idea of the portability and would consider using an extension cab then save the money and get the LB. They are both great!!!Here are the links:

I gig a lot but am a college student so I'm wondering if it would be worth it to save a few bucks by just purchasing the lunchbox instead of the club.

So what’s your take on the club vs the lunchbox. The price is $459.00 including free shipping. It will be available here on my affiliate dealer page: http://www.ztclubamp.com/I have been playing the one ZT sent me constantly since I got it. This will certainly be easier to lug around than a JC-120 for sure!!Please feel free to contact me with any questions!!!-Billy

Hi Christian and thanks for visiting!!
