This is a 1957 Fender Vibrolux chassis. It appears to be 100% bone stock original right down to the speaker connection wire and AC power cord. Unfortunately it doesn’t sound very good at all. The sound is distorted and there is an evident background hum. What is the solution for this amps condition? Replace the old dried out, leaky capacitors. I like to start with the electrolytic caps first. This usually gets the amp sounding much better and stable. Then I would check all the coupling caps individually. More often than not the coupling caps are ok but the electrolytic type have exceeded their lifespan. I am confident that after a cap job and good service this Vibrolux will sound great. Stay tuned for the results.
