Under the general heading of, "I bet you can't eat just one," I also installed the Premier Guitar Magazine App and the Official Santana App.The Gibson app has a chromatic tuner, a metronome, a chord chart, a lessons section, and a mini-browser that takes you to a portion of the news section of Gibson lifestyle on http://www.gibson.com.I haven't A-B'ed the tuner against the Peterson iStroboSoft I use on the iPhone, but others have said it's pretty good. The metronome is functional, but I'll keep using Frozen Ape's Tempo because of the better feature set. The chord chart is very weak. The one I use on the iPhone is D'Addario's Chordmaster. The lessons section is comprised of 7 lesson previews from Learn & Master Guitar (http://www.LearnAndMaster.com). Some are up to an hour in length. With the brief time I've spent with the Gibson App, I give it a thumbs up. It's a nice first effort and it's free. My wish list would start with beefing up the chord chart and goes on through adding the Arlen Roth lessons found on Gibson's site (won't happen because the App is being used to advertise Learn & Master Guitar).

I just installed the Gibson app on my iPhone.
