That&#039;s a  commonly used method in boat building.If you build speaaker cabinets or any wood cabinet that needs to be airtight there is another boat building tip that is useful. In order to get a good seal between wood surfaces that may not be perfectly mated, use a lengh of string that will fit the area and dip it in the same wood glus used for the project. When the panels are glued and screwed in place the string forms a gasket that fills minor non mating surfaces and seals air tight.Keep up the great work.
