Ryan’s Stage Crazy workout is awesome! It look s simple when you watch him do it, but it doesn’t feel as simple when you are sweating it out. Definitely a great program with amazing results for just 12 minutes of work a few times each week.
Thanks for the comment! I have tried it once and it rocks! I mostly train with clubbells and kettlebells but this routine is great to do when you are pressed for time or don’t have access to equipment.
Try this workout as well as any from the bodyweightcoach.com
They are challenging, burn the calories and can be done anywhere with no equipment. highly recommend
I’m into my sixth cycle of doing this workout every four days. It is KILLER! Definitely a high-intensity workout, at least for me. Ryan makes it look easy, but I’m only now getting to the point where I don’t have to take a second or two break on that last exercise, “the Glide”. Great way to energize the rest of the day!
Ryan is a great guy and this workout is definitely great. I hope it helps musicians stay or get in shape! Thanks for your comments!!!
As a traveling musician I sometimes have to deal with hotels not having a gym or having one that is fairly useless.
Ryan’s 12 minute stag crazy workout has helped me maintain my fitness goals and exceeded my expectations along the way!
Its a very efficient way to keep in shape and takes up very little space and no equipment is needed.
check it out !
Thanks very much for posting that, Billy. And thanks to everyone for the great comments. Really glad to hear the program is working for you, and that it’s helping you stay healthy and fit on the road.
Those who haven’t seen CST bodyweight exercise before are probably having a little trouble visualizing what Stage Crazy might look like, or how it’s possible to get a great workout in just 12 minutes.
You can get a peek at the program here http://www.vimeo.com/6519907 (clicking the HD setting to “off” will make it play more smoothly). I ran the host of Canada’s biggest entertainment show through a session on primetime TV this past summer.
Best wishes,
Ryan
Thanks for stopping by Ryan!!!
A friend of mine just got second place in the world championships for Harmonica. She is a seriously great musician. It isn’t the only instrument she plays. She said first place was athletically trained.
Now I see your article and Ryan.
Interesting correlations…..
Thank you….
