Do you understand my explanation? You cant just remove the switch and let the wires just hang in space because they are part of the pickup leads. If you want you can email me a drawing and I may be able to tell you what to do..... I have a Fender Lead 2 guitar that has been modded. Someone put a seymour dunccan razor humbucker in the bridge pickup cutout. This guitar came stock with two fender single coils and a three way toggle. The problem is that it also came with a phase switch that alters the center position (both pickups) config, or both stock single coils. I dont like the sound of the phase switch, or even want it. What if I were to remove it from the system? Would it still sound the same?
